However, the host did not tell us we would be sharing the house with other guests abs this caused a startle with those we found in the house already. The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower. "A charming property with a historic main building, cosy communal areas and comfortable chalet-style rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and the included à la carte breakfast was delicious. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, although we didn’t get a chance to eat there. The hot water ran out fairly quickly, but overall we had a very pleasant stay and wished we could have stayed longer than one night."

"Reception staff were hospitable and pleasant. Restaurant staff seemed to lack hospitality training and were not customer focused, preferring to look at their phones and told us to get our own wine from the bar. Our room smelt musty but was OK when windows & doors were open. A tea bag and milk would have been appreciated. Room itself was large and comfortable and the scenery was stunning."
