Calma Ubud is a truly wonderful place for both the heart and the mind. We stayed in the private villa area and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring Ubud and its main attractions. A peaceful and beautiful place that made our stay truly special. Highly recommended!

there was nothing they could have done better 10/10 the staff, the rooms, the accommodations, this was an amazing place in Ubud— i ended up staying in Casa Veranda which is just across the street from Calma and had my own pool, so i never used Calmas pool but i did eat at their restaurant as the two properties have different menus, but it was like a 5 minute beautiful walk through nature to Calmas Facilities. You could dine at Casa Veranda and i did, it was just a different menu. The spa was cool, i really enjoyed the flower bath but the masseuse was just “okay”

Staff at Calma are lovely, can’t do enough for you and the most attentive people we have come across on our travels in Indonesia. Making our stay a memorable one. We also used the laundry which was a fantastic service, super quick and good value for money. Shuttle is handy as the quieter area the hotel is set in is perfect to be just outside the chaos of the centre but you’re only 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast was well presented and tasty, you can also order breakfast for a certain time if you have a trip which is a nice touch and afternoon tea is a great addition. Would recommend Calma to anyone visiting Ubud without hesitation!

Staying in downtown Ubud seemed too loud and crowded. Calma offered the ability to feel like you are in a more remote area, yet still close to town. We stayed at the new villas across from the property which were tastefully decorated and had a vibe like being in Spain. Loved the private pool and the breakfast offered in the morning is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place however beds are extremely hard and small in the twin rooms. Some rooms are more noisy due to air con unit being on outside bedroom walls. Staff happy to accommodate when I asked for a change but to change a room I had to pay for extra as I ordered another / room and my friend stayed in the initial room. Food was lovely, not to far to the city for a cheap grab ride

The property is beautiful, and every detail was well thought out. It is outside of the main Ubud area and quiet around it, and they offer a shuttle to the downtown area. Soraya, the owner, is very pleasant. The staff will go the extra mile to help us and make us comfortable. Amazing place!

This place is a VERY cute (I believe they only have 10 rooms and one villa) hotel. Pool overlooks a small but beautiful rice field. Staff is excellent - attentive, hospitable, helpful, and professional. Their onsite restaurant is also excellent which I love- everything I ate there was so good and reasonably priced. They also have free breakfast all cooked to order. Just be careful of mosquitos (although they attack all over Bali!) I definitely would stay here again if I return to Ubud!

Calma Ubud is in a tranquil setting a short drive from the city centre where they offer a free transfer service at intermittent times! The restaurant is excellent as is the spa but it’s the friendly staff who make the stay! Would recommend staying here and in using Toke Toke Bali to view the rice fields, temple and coffee all via a vintage VW vehicle

Serene hideaway in Ubud

Very beautiful 2 bedroom villa amidst lush surroundings, lovely massage area and tucked away sun lounge chairs .Food at the restaurant was well priced and very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but cold have been more informed about tours. Only 1 15-minute walk to central Ubud town.

Calma Ubud was incredible. It is a beautiful property and well hosted and run. It is just outside the city center for peach and quiet but they offer shuttle service. The hostess is always available to support your stay and help with any activities. We had breakfast there as well and it was great with a nice view over the valley behind. I recommend the stay to anybody in the area. Chicago, US Couple.

The place had a beautiful vibe with nature all around and the staff were very good! Bad - The location on the Expedia site is incorrect and the hotel needs to correct this as it shows it being close to UBUD central when in reality, it's 2 miles away. The pool area from the pic is different now as there is natural growth and other homes/hotels around but still a small rice field at the back.

Absolutely outstanding service. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The front of house ladies Diane and Kadek were so friendly and helped us book transport and activities at short notice. The Floating Breakfast was a fun addition. The garden environment throughout the property was stunning and the pool and restaurant were so relaxing. We enjoyed a massage on site too. The bed was comfortable. Obviously it is a rural environment so it is completely normal to have some insects outside but bug spray was provided so we didn’t have an issue. We used the free shuttle into town too. Overall fully recommend. Definitely lots to do nearby including rice terraces, monkey forest, waterfalls, famous temples, great shops and restaurants.
