Perfect location
Like another review I found hard to find it’s down a lane (opposite a flip flop store) once I got there I was very pleased lots of amazing statues stunning pool. My room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the fool and hills. The food was great and staff very friendly. Just a short walk to the action

Centrally located no frills hotel. Nice stay
Very centrally located in Ubud. Just off a little lane from one of the two main streets. The pool is nice. I’d stay here again.

Ubud
Great value for money in the heart of Ubud. Staff are friendly and helpful. You won't be paying Novatel prices so don't expect luxury. But the rooms are large, quiet and a great view of the forest. Especially found the running stream relaxing.

The hotel is in a great location, lovely grounds, nice room with a view, basic bathroom (not fancy). My kids loved the pool and the fish spa. We could hear the bar music until 11pm every night, that was the only downside.

Top location. Quiet due to being set back from road but right in the heart of Ubud. My room was basic but had everything I needed. Great air con. Lovely pool. Fabulous staff. Good breakfast.

We had a non-functioning toilet that we asked to have fixed for 3 days. We were promissed every time and given lengthy explanations what has happened to the handy man. Finally we were offered another room when I filled in the online form about our first impressions and mentioned the toilet. This hotel would only need a little TLC to be good. Instead it is partially cleaned, barely serviced. We had the feeling only the bare minimum is done and only when requested. Ie cleaning the dead, inch sized cockroach from under our bed.. We tried the spa. Well, it was money wasted.

Right next to monkey forest- so convenient location. Deluxe room was on top level, nice view. Breakfast was so so. Didn't know they had scooter rental until the last couple of days. Not very helpful staff when it came to asking about activities/prices. Facial at spa was average. Nice pool. Loud air conditioner on the house that disturbed peace

A hidden treasure indeed
We had a spacious room with twin beds. It had a large private outdoor balcony that was a jungle setting with a stream well below. Excellent facilities and yes we would return

You have to walk into a side street to get to the hotel which can be hard to find at first. However inside the pool area does look really nice. The room is fairly clean not bad for the price you pay. But we did find the main person on reception to be a little rude and that he had us down for staying less days than what we booked.

Good place to stay in Ubud
The hotel was nice and it was a small and quiet place. Nice pool aswell. The staff was ok but it seems like they are trying to sell tours more than actually drift a hotel. The staff in the reception was asking many times each day(up to 7 times) if we wanted a tour he sugest when we check in (they started there already). even if we said that we would come to the reception if we wanted the tour they keep asking.. We ordered transport ourself trough internet of principal reasons. The breakfast was poor. Just a small toast and one egg, and the meny was not any better. Overall, except a few of the staff and the breakfast we could actually recomand this place because of the hotel area, nice rooms with fridge, the central location and that the beer they sold was cheaper than the minimarkeds in the area.

Half-updated hotel, close to everything
I booked two rooms for this hotel and I was happy with one of them. The other was okay. The hotel property has older bungalow type rooms and a newer building with updated rooms. Our family room was one of the older rooms, no A/C (which is needed as the fans were not helpful, one possibly spinning the incorrect direction for downward air). It was spacious, but worn and not as clean. The second room, was nice and what I would've expected out of the previous rooms (clean and A/C). Parking is on a very busy, unsecure street with rare spots available mid-day. The hotel itself is tucked about 50 yards down a sidewalk, don't expect a bellhop. Breakfast was simple with a few things to choose from. Price was great. Location was great.

The pool was beautiful and looks out over a fantastic view, I could have spent a lot of time in it but pool bar was unmanned and we had a tight schedule. Room was huge and well equipped however aircon didn't work in one room, fan also broken and many doors difficult to open. However, even with it's faults, our stay was lovely, we felt very spoilt and the place definitely has the bones of a brilliant place to stay.

Never again, Jati 3!
My family (partner and I plus kids 6 and 4) were really looking forward to Jati 3 as it was our third stay in Ubud, but first with the kids. I just can't express the level of disappointment we felt as we descended 4 flights of steep stairs to our dismal, dark and dirty 'accommodation'; it was mouldy, mosquito-infested, and hadn't been dusted for at least a decade. We have traveled all over Asia and this was by far the worst room we have ever been in! The mosquito nets were filthy and ripped, EVERY surface was grimy, and an obviously well fed but diahorrea-affected gecko had taken residence. The bathroom/toilet window with was covered with an opaque shower curtain (that covered a third of it at most) and we were occasionally surprised on the 'throne', or showering, by a gorgeous local going about the property making offerings, or by the neighbours across the ravine on their property. Nowhere in the upstairs/downstairs room was not overlooked by another room! No hot water unless one ran the tap for an hour, unsafe electrical outlets and devices (bedside lamps), not unexpected for Asia though, but nothing like photos on website. Also, bench top bottled water in room charged for without any notice; we weren't stung but overheard others at reception (on check in) arguing with staff about it. We approached management about our grievances but their only suggestion was paying to upgrade. Discussions with others guests at the pool (one saving grace) revealed we weren't alone.

Great deal for your money
My friends and I booked a room for five and it was a very comfortable and clean stay. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, its proximity to monkey forest and the main attractions make this a very good option.

Excellent location, quiet & comfortable!
We were absolutely happy with the stay in Ubud. The location of this hotel is perfect. We walked everywhere! Located half way between the monkey forest & markets. Walk down little path to the reception, so can't take car close. But that wasn't an iasue. Room overlooked the rainforest, absolutely stunning and peaceful. Pool was beautiful & clean. Breakfast was delicious & just enough. Very happy, will return for sure. Thankyou!

I arrived at around 11am, far too early to check in - or so I thought. The gentleman at the desk was only too happy to help, and showed me straight to my bungalow. It was unprepared (as expected) however hadn't looked as though it had been thoroughly cleaned for months, with old incense ash on surfaces, dust and dead insects on sills and ledges. The bed was comfy and the ceiling fan worked well without air con.

We were disappointed immediately upon our arrival. There was no water waiting for us in our room, the air conditioner was turned off so the room was very hot and we had no toilet roll whatsoever. The bathroom was very basic and old and did not feel clean. There are some new rooms being built at the moment which unfortunately spoilt what is quite a nice pool, too noisy to relax and enjoy it. The breakfast was quite limited but very nice. And, sadly, the hotel staff weren't the friendly, helpful staff we are used to in Bali.

Great location, close to Ubud Monkey Forest
The children loved swimming in the pool that had an excellent little section for little kids, a great section that was deep enough to swim, but shallow enough for my 5 to 7 yr old to put their feet down, then there was a very deep section. The views of the forest off our back verandah were lovely. We saw wild squirrels and pretty birds. The drain in the shower did not drain out well and the sink and walls could have done with a better clean. Friendly staff with lots of smiles. Quiet and peaceful as it is off the main road. It was easy to walk to different restaurants, shops, massage places. They do have their own spa facilities which looked lovely from the outside, however we chose to go to some of the cheaper local places. Loved being able to have the children in the same room. Good price, glad we upgraded to an air conditioned room.

Clean hotel right in the heart of Ubud!
Clean and nice room with privacy. Food available on site with the best banana pancakes. Infinity pool with warm clean water and lounge chairs to sun in set in a cute garden area. Spacious room with bathtub and shower. Can walk to the Monkey Forest, shops and restaurants line the street. Market is walking distance but many taxi drivers ready to take you anywhere you want to go.

Location location location!
Average accommodation overridden by excellent location right off Monkey Forest Road. The hotel is set back from the road so that it is quiet and tranquil. My upstairs room had a jungle River view which was great. My complaints - the staff were not nearly as friendly or helpful as is expected of Ubud and wifi connection was maddeningly unstable. The owner is very nice though and the value of the package deal on Expedia is phenomenal. Overall, fine for those who want to be in the thick of Ubud and not looking for luxury (the bathroom is basic and the breakfasts are 'meh'). Pool is good and popular. Those looking for extra tranquillity and that special natural Ubud beauty may prefer to look at the many beautiful home stays, accomodations and bungalows just outside of Ubud.

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice except for the bathroom which looked very dirty. The pool was nice and the breakfast was yummy. The location was excellent and most things were walking distance.

Very ordinary. Room gloomy, some light bulbs not working, air conditioner ran, but was ineffective, pool area uninviting, staff not particularly helpful and bathroom was 1 star equivalent, not 3 star. Disappointing. will never stay there again as there are much better options around for the same price.

Location, location, location...but not much else.
Perfect location on Monkey Forest Rd., but don't expect much in the way of creature comforts. You get what you pay for! The pool is nice, but the area surrounding it is filthy, including the chair cushions. Basic rooms don't have a TV and you'll want to wear your sandals in the shower. Breakfast is severely lacking, so don't let that be a deciding factor in staying here.
