The worst service we have ever received from a hotel/Bnb. It was a very hot 32 degree day and the air conditioner was broken in our room. We asked for another room when we we told the bnb was fully occupied which was understandable. We then requested that we get a refund for our accommodation because we couldn’t stay in a room that was so hot. The owner told us we needed to wait for her maintenance guy who was a 2 hour drive away, let alone the amount of time it would take him to repair a broken unit. She REFUSED to give us our money back. We had to cut our losses and find somewhere else to stay which was much more reliable. The owner displayed absolutely no hospitality or professionalism at all.
A safe area - security cameras on the road and guards patrol the area. The Guest House is within a short driving distance of a shopping mall, so is conveniently located. The spacious room is spotless and has everything one needs - toiletries in the bathroom, a microwave oven and toaster, minibar with soft drinks and snacks, hairdryer, etc. Fast WiFi that works perfectly. The owner has paid great attention to detail and every little thing is in place and has been carefully selected. The bed is very comfortable and made up with fresh, crisp white linen and comfortable pillows. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.
Just needed somewhere to stay after arrival at the airport, before moving on the next day. The hotel was a relatively easy drive (with SatNav), though hotel wasn't clearly marked from the road, but shoeing as 88 Chartwell Drive, rather than as 'guest house.
The room was good sized, with sofa, large tv, good bathroom and comfortable bed. The room had coffee facilities, refridgerator and 'honesty bar'
Breakfast was good.
Would certainly use again, if needi somewhere to stay in Durban.

Super de belle change bien située
Chambre impeccable et belle vue. Seul hic est que la piscine n'était pas très bien nettoyée et on ne s'est pas baignés.
We had a wonderful time, me and my family enjoyed our stay, it all turned out to be more than we expected, thank you very much.

A little disappointing stay. We had booked there because it clearly stated a separate living area, but in fact we had none (and there were ones on the property with separate areas). Our room was spacious and ok. The bedding was clean, but the valance covering the bottom of the bed looked like it had been there for ages. The safe was very small - too small to leave a laptop in. The room had several signs warning of security and panic buttons which left us feeling a bit uneasy - especially as two walls were glass doors which allowed for amazing views but had flimsy locks. The pool was too dirty to swim in, but in all fairness on the second day it was cleaned and usable thereafter. The breakfast was delicious and the staff serving the breakfast were wonderful - redeemed our stay. It was a very long walk to the centre (35-40 minutes). Taps were a little loose and some water was dripping behind the sink. Water supply was a bit unreliable. Our television did not work at one point, but it was immediately seen to. So a mixed experience.
