"I like that the bed was comfortable and it was close to everything. The staff was pleasant when checking in and out. The outside was rough, looks like possibly remodeling, a toilet was outside in front of a room. The inside was outdated, painted chipped off the walls not outlets, the one we could use sparked when you plugged something into it. The TV kept freezing up during the program. "It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."
