"I’ll keep it short! Check in was slow, pool was closed for repairs or maintenance but everything was good. Laundry is limited and small but free! Location is pretty good but on a large hill. You will often have to walk upwards into the more “main” parts of the city during your stay"

"Reservation was made for two nights. Arrived first night to a room with no air conditioner. Notified front desk. Hotel provided accommodation in a very small room with a bed suitable for only one person and our reservation was paid for a room for two. Had to change rooms again the next morning. Breakfast buffet was limited. Small space and slow service for coffee. We had used the Indigo franchise before and this hotel did not meet our expectations based on past experience."

"The location of this property cannot be better - within a few minute walking distance to Sol and Opera metro stations and the major landmarks. The room was clean and updated and staff member was so helpful. I would stay here if I visit Madrid again (one suggestion - free coffee or some other compliment would be nice even thought cafes are right outside the door. "

"Staff was ok, just says hello but that’s it. Not as welcoming compared to the staff in Barcelona hotel. Clean room and spacious. Accessible and walkable to many spots around the area, loved the location, and absolutely loved Madrid. Must book if you’d like to be within many restaurants and access to many must see sites."

"Motel One was easy to get to from the train station using the metro. There are several restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store nearby. Definitely recommend. "
