"We stayed in the traditional classic room, part of the original building. Hotel is beautiful - staff are extremely well trained and helpful. Food in the Rise restaurant is first class. Room was well appointed and spotless, yet furniture a little creaky and well used - but understandable. "The staff were excellent. Arrived early left luggage. Staff messaged when room was ready. Received message next asjingbif stay going ok. Said room was cold. Came staight away & fixed temp control. Staff excellent. Nothhing too much trouble. Said not yo bother with cleaning room but still brought fresh towels & topped coffee up. Breakfast choice very good & varied. Hot select good , topped up regularly. Would reccommend. C Handy for train station & town centre 10 .ins walk."
