"We had a wonderful stay! The setting of the property, amongst those green Basque Country hills, is gorgeous and the building itself has an air of old world charm. The owner and his son were very welcoming and accommodating, we loved interacting with them. We stayed in one of the studios on the second floor, breakfast on the balcony was perfect. "Pros: - Very helpful and friendly staff. They had a printed listed of recommended restaurants and went through a map with us on check in, and also discussed upcoming events. Ordered taxis for us as well. - Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools and a spa that you have complimentary access to but have to schedule, Did not use these Cons: - Further from the action than I realized. 8 min walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to everything else - Felt sort of like an upgraded motel. Did not feel particularly nice, even with an upgraded room. - Extremely minimal storage in room and horrible lighting in bathroom - Housekeeping was sub-par, did not replace amenities like bars of soap in the bathroom In summary, experience was fine but I would stay somewhere else next time."
