"The hotel is located on Plaza de España with immediate access to the metro and the bus transport system. The hotel is located next to Gran Via, which has multiple free buses. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had a view of the plaza. The room is well planned with two closets for storing belongings. The hotel breakfast was lovely with a large variety of foods. We had massages in the hotel spa and they were fabulous. Our providers were very professional and the massages were top quality. We also use the pool and the sauna and enjoyed both. The pool has a nice view and is a pleasant temperature. We enjoyed a LUXURY experience. There is no shuttle to and from the airport although Expedia states that there is one. For airport transport we took the Metro to the hotel and we took a taxi from the hotel. This was a trip for my birthday and the hotel helped me celebrate with a surprise of balloons, treats, and sparkling wine."

"The shower water flow was small or narrow. No pressure. The hotel has great views but I wouldn’t rate it a 5 star hotel "

"The hotel is marketed as luxury, but the reality falls far short. The photos are misleading, while they look impressive online, the actual property feels outdated, with old furniture, low-quality windows, and a worn balcony that make the place seem decades behind. Soundproofing is poor, so noise is easily heard throughout the room. The pool is also advertised, yet it’s only open for a few months a year, which makes its promotion misleading for most guests. The gym setup is another issue. The pull-up bar is positioned too close to the ceiling, leaving no proper clearance and making it unusable without risking hitting your head. I had to go to a nearby park just to do a basic workout. For a budget hotel, some of this might be acceptable, but not at the prices this place charges. The overall experience simply doesn’t justify the cost or the expectations they set. Disappointing stay"
