"The hotel is great as it is basically at the main train station in the city centre. On the first night our bathroom flooded as the shower didn’t drain properly. As it was late we didn’t change rooms but in the morning while we went for breakfast the housekeeping staff sorted it out for us. The reception staff were very apologetic and helpful. Once that minor issue was resolved the rest of the stay was great. I had stayed before a couple of years ago so I knew the hotel breakfast was brilliant and caters for vegans and gluten free diets with a big selection. It had changed slightly since my last visit, the most annoying thing was that the labels have changed and it was hard to find out what the letters on the food meant. Otherwise it was great. Despite the hotel being very full, the breakfast went on for long enough and in a big enough space to accommodate guests with nothing running out as everything was constantly replenished. I know I’ll visit Helsinki again and would definitely stay here again."

"Good location, but expected more from a Radisson Blu I stayed here for two nights while visiting Helsinki. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of the main sights, which was definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was disappointing. It took over 30 minutes because there was a long line and only a few staff members assisting guests. At first, I assumed this was an isolated issue, but I noticed similar staffing and service issues throughout my stay. The room itself was clean and acceptable, but the hallways were dark and not very inviting. They made the hotel feel older and more rundown than I expected. The breakfast was a highlight. It was quite complete and offered a wide variety of options. Overall, the hotel was fine for my stay, particularly because of its location, but I expected a higher level of service and atmosphere from a Radisson Blu property."

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and it was overall very comfortable. The shower is excellent and our room was very spacious. It is close to downtown and the marketplace, as well as the ferry to Suomenlinna - Sea of Fortress. A lot of option for breakfast and the complimentary dinner was great. The only downside was the TV did not have the option for streaming."

"The big advantage of this hotel is its location, right beside a public train station, and a hub for buses. The hotel is nice, clean, well maintain and have certain facilities, but NO STAFF at all 9except for cleaning), so it is a DIY hotel, no lobby, no one to speak to, just a machine to check-in and a slot to check-out. Maybe some people like this. I don't. I like personalised, so no staff to review. Otherwise, it is a fine place."
