"This hotel is just steps away from the airport which is great. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are modern and well decorated. The price is very reasonable. It’s a small boutique hotel that’s next to a runway and in the middle of the rental car places but it wasn’t too hard to find. The only downside (which isn’t an issue for me) is that it’s right up against a runway and you can definitely hear the planes. They provide earplugs if you’re sensitive to sound but neither my partner nor I needed them and the planes stopped around 10:30 so really not an issue"

"Impeccably clean. A great place to place to rest after a long journey, a very late arrival or prior to leaving on a 6 am flight. We landed in Catania Airport and left the terminal at 1:00. We slept like babies."

"We left after two nights because this might be the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. When reported to the front desk, we were met with indifference, so two days passed with a backed up sink. The shower was the smallest I have ever encountered - 20 inches by 20 inches (.5 meter x .5 meter). The lukewarm water dribbled out - barely, meaning that it was very difficult to rinse the soap off. The shower was so small that one had to stand in the bathroom but not in the shower because one could not raise one's arms. The food in the restaurant barely reached a mediocre level. There were two choices - the same for both nights and no deviation from the set menu was permitted. The room was relatively clean, but certainly not spotless. The pillow on the bed were uncomfortable. The grounds were less than mediocre. Our room was advertised as a garden view. It was a trash heap view. The tanning deck looked like it was last renovated about 1960 (about 60 years ago). The sand on the beach was not that clean - alot of dirt and sticks mixed in. The best thing this hotel could do is close and undergo a year long renovation."

"We had amazing time at Giardino del Sole.The rooms are nice and clean and were cleaned daily.The area is lovely,quiet and perfect for a relaxing break.Kids loved walking around the farm and spotting animals.We had dinner twice in the restaurant-very delicious food and very reasonable prices too.Staff is very attentive and friendly.Definitely recommend it!"

"We stayed one night in this hotel, and enjoyed it enormously. We decided to book one of the more expensive rooms, and it did not disappoint, absolutely stunning! We also had a delightful massage and made use of the pools and restaurant. All extremely good. "
