"Great location, ample parking and 4 EV chargers so the hotel is a perfect stopover or base camp for exploring the Lofoten islands by car. We opted for a balcony harbour view room and it did not disappoint. We had views of the harbour and the constant stream of ferries, cruise ships, tour boats and private vessels. As always in Norway, the buffet breakfast was excellent and had something for everyone’s taste."

"Great hotel we loved staying here. The rooms were large with a living room on the ground floor and bedrooms on the first floor. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was amazing lots of choice! Location of hotel is lovely, right by the water. Slightly out of the way but short walk to the bus stop and plenty of parking hiring a car. Only thing to be mindful of is stairs to the bedrooms are quite narrow, not a problem for us, but something to be aware of if less mobile."

"Note-- this hotel has two buildings that are attached to each other via a hallway. One building is new and has elevators. The other is an old building w/stairs that go up and down..and back up, and has NO elevator. The staff carried our suitcases up and down the stairs, but I felt like we were in an old dumpy hotel. The "family room" had a very old uncomfortable pullout sofa with metal box springs. Definitely needs to be replaced. We learned that the "old" hotel was an office building, and the Thon hotel bought it and never put in an elevator. Also, it was super loud-- until about 1:30am, could hear people outside laughing and talking. On the plus side, the location is central and breakfast was very good."

"It was an amazing stay. The owner of this hotel are great and really helpfull, from helping with questions or demands durong the stay, to giving advices on places to go. They are renovating all of the little housing, its beautifull and very cozy. It is pretty close to Svolvaer and close the grocery store in town. The best part ia defenitly the peace and quiet and the view is amazing. I would defenitly recommand staying there."
