"The rooms were just fine, good size. Lacking on surface space, tiny nightstands, no drawers or dresser space. Parking was plentiful, breakfast was lovely."

"Disappointed with our room! We chose a room with the sea view from the photos on the Hotels.com website when choosing the room. These are not the photos of our room though. There is a view of a brick wall not the sea, through the other window you can see part of the terrace that is badly maintained and has a bad smell when opening the window. Terrible sewerage smell in our bathroom, which we had let them know on the first day, but nothing could be done. There are stains throughout on the carpet and chair. Definitely lack of maintenance in these rooms. Understanding it is old, but not well maintained. Other rooms are well maintained and look lovely. We are informed there were no other rooms available for our stay unfortunately. No option to change rooms. The Hotel said it is a booking problem, but the cleanliness is a hotel problem."

"The pictures and info on Expedia about this hotel are misleading. To reach the annex ehere our room was located you had to go down stairs outside which smelled of garbage. The room had indoor/outdoor type carpet that felt damp and there was instant nescafe for coffee. Stark white walls. The shower had mold. We were to receive a parking code to access parking and never received a response despite numerous emails. Instead, we kept getting a useless canned response that was in French even though we asked for a response in English. Were it not for a terrific dinner at the hotel restaurant, the experience would have been horrible. There was only a limited buffet for breakfast and a hot drink dispenser for coffee ... like a vending machine. Yuk. "

"If you are going to visit the abbey at Mont St. Michel, this ia the place to stay. Basic but comfortable clean and affordable. Parking is easy, and the shuttle and causeway to the island are nearby. Highly recommend!"
