"The room had no a/c, being an American, I figured I didn’t know how to work the a/c system. I googled how to use it. Watched videos. It still wasn’t working. The first night was super uncomfortable. The second night I asked, they told me my room had no a/c and gave me a portable fan. That I had to carry up to the second floor. Pool was closed. Elevators were also closing due to maintenance. Staff were as extremely nice. I didn’t know we had to pay for breakfast, not worth $12 each person....

"If this hotel had been labeled a 2 or 3 star hotel it would have been great. But for a hotel labeled 4 stars, we expected a certain standard of luxury that just wasn’t met. The 2 bathrooms that were listed were actually just one toilet in a room and another room with a tub, shower, and sink. I don’t consider that two bathrooms, and for a room that sleeps 6 people.
