"Lovely clean hotel, close to the beach and centre of old town. Yara Costa and other staff at the hotel were wonderful and so pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you’re a light sleeper then this isn’t a hotel for you, the bars are quite loud and until early hours of the morning. But the hotel can not be faulted, very clean and a comfortable."

"The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. The location of the hotel is also convenient for walking to the beach and nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great option for a stay in...

"Situated near the railway and bus stations next to the marina right in the centre. But not noisy.
Friendly staff with good spoken English, really good buffet breakfast and good supper on Floor 5 with panoramic views. Swimming pool.
Nice clean spacious rooms with easy to operate AC.
Ask for a room overlooking the marina as they are so much nicer than the ones at the back.Well worth the upgrade."
