"Lovely hotel. Nice staff. Bed comfy. They allowed us check in early. Food was good. Could do with a bigger more noticeable sign post on the hotel for easy find."

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. Excellent location in Calacoto, just across the street from the cable car with great connection to the rest of La Paz. Room was clean and comfortable. I had a problem with the TV and the safety box and they fixed immediately. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. I definitely recommend it."

"A perfect option if you want a party hostel, less good if you want to rest at a 5 star hotel. We were on the 7th floor and a party upstairs on the 9th continued until almost 1am, with loud music coming down the open sides of the building and into our room. When I went to discuss with reception, the manager Mariana Pereira gave me the option of dealing with it or leaving the hotel (at midnight). The party upstairs probably paid the hotel a lot of money to rent the space so they didn't care about...

We had two stays booked at Illampu, before and after a tour to the Uyuni salt flats. I had left a suitcase stored with the hotel during our tour. Unfortunately, due to the protests in La Paz, we weren't able to make it back for our second reservation and had to fly directly to La Paz airport and then leave the country on our flights home shortly after. "The room it’s located on the 12th floor, and I had a beautiful view of the city. The staff were incredibly helpful especially Gerardo ,Carla,Elizabeth.Gerardo walked with me to the cable car station to help me.. I had an excellent breakfast every morning.. it’s a great location five minute walk from the cable station. But the staff make this incredible Hotel!!❤️❤️❤️"
