"The staff were all positive, friendly and helpful. A standout feature of the hotel. Choices of restaurants was good, but book the Inn. The hotel restaurant less busy but still great food and service. If you have the opportunity do book a sea view room, it just adds to the experience."

"The ground floor room was very convenient for access with our dog. The whole place was always kept clean & tidy. Superb cooked breakfast every morning & the evening meals that we had were also excellent. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bar / pub area had a very good atmosphere, with locals drinking & eating there as well as motel guests. A two minute walk to a great beach. We will definitely return."

"The portion sizes were very generous and the food delicious- would highly recommend you eat here if you’re staying, and the breakfast is equally massive. The staff are lovely and I was greeted by name in the morning (which I’ve never had in a stay anywhere, especially as I’ve an unusual name) which made me feel welcome. Lounge is full of friendly locals and visitors; a good mix. My only gripes was there weren’t many types of cider on tap, but I found that fairly typical for the area, and the...

"The hotel was very grotty. The room was very small. The ceiling light fitting had exposed wires. The bathroom lino was jagged & torn in places. Very loud vent below bedroom window. Badly decorated & dated. The hot water was boiling(though there was a warning sign) The staff were pleasant though & the room was cleaned every day by friendly ladies."

"Lovely hotel. Car park was full so had to wait for a space. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of Hot & cold foods to choose from. Had Sunday roast beef dinner. Partner had sea bass. Plus a cheeky dessert. Good menu for food & drinks Really fab food. Staff where very smiley and friendly. The Grand stair case was amazing. Room was very clean Great views over the mountains and water. Bed was very comfortable. Over all great place to stay. Fab location. Definitely go back."

"We arrived at this hotel in its superb setting enormously cheerful. We were met by a male of surly demeanour with a charisma bypass. I have found prison officers, when visiting my clients, more cheerful and welcoming. His initial charming greeting, a flat, harmless 'you okay?' didnt lift our spirits but after getting over our encounter we loved our room and breakfast was great. Get rid of that harmless man and we will return."
