"The hotel was unique. It felt like you were staying in a relative’s mansion. The location was terrific. We could walk to downtown Montclair easily."

"There was no complementary coffee or tea in the lobby. The coffee shop/bar had very limited hours. Maid service was minimal. Front desk personnel were sometimes disinterested. The location was great, with easy access to highways and conveniently adjacent to a shopping center with multiple restaurants."

"We wouldn’t get the room with breakfast again. The food itself wasn’t bad but getting it was difficult. While it is freshly cooked, it took over 20 minutes for someone just to show up to take our order. The menu is very limited as well and there is only regular coffee, no decaf option. The room itself was clean and well maintained but without a dresser while there would be plenty of space for one. Noise complaints were addressed by the staff timely and oversights corrected promptly."

"The room was clean, but the air conditioning was very loud and disrupted our sleep. The body wash dispenser in the shower did not work. The breakfast room was so overcrowded on our second morning that we just walked away. There is only one coffee machine, and we could not get close to it. This hotel rents to large bus tours that overwhelm the place. We will not stay here again."

"The parking lot was overflow for the airport so it was near impossible to park. There were people smoking drinking and partying in the parking lot. It smelt terrible, rooms and hotel were very dirty. Very loud and could not sleep."

"I stayed because it was close to Newark Airport. The shuttle service was great and the location was great. The person at the desk when I arrived was not helpful and seemed like he did not want to be there. I got to the room which was clean but there was someone's hair in the toilet, no hair dryer, no cups and I did not have a large towel for the shower only a hand towel. The people at the desk at checkout were pleasant."

"My stay was not the best. I asked twice about getting my room cleaned and new towels and it never happened. Then to be told you must asked for it to be done before 10am each day. My sister was on the 9th floor and had a clean room each day. The midnight staff are tired and attiutudial. Front desk is a customer service position. Getting avoid with the guest over questions is unacceptable. Sorry to say I do not think I will be returning again."
