"I would say this is a hidden gem. An elegant hotel in the heart of Caldas de Reis, so very convenient if you are making the Camino. It is way above others in this route. Nicely appointed rooms. It was nice to see some other pilgrims from El Camino staying here as well. Breakfast was nice too. Checking in took a little longer than expected, but service was courteous and informative. "Beautiful location and facility, a little bit off of Camino trail, but owner picked us up and dropped off next day. We had a great almost homemade dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend to stay at this place."

"Sehr freundliche und super hilfsbereite Besitzer. Tolles Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Brot, Saft und Müsli usw. Schönes Zimmer mit allem, was man benötigt. Mein Fahrrad stand sicher in der Garage und es wurde sogar ein Taxi incl. Transport des Fahrrades zum Flughafen organisiert. Alles perfekt und 100 % prozentig zu empfehlen"

"It was the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. I’m talking smaller than small (with nowhere to even put a suitcase). Also the reception is one street away, in an entirely different hotel, which wasn’t clear in the reservation. The stairwell is also tiny, so unless you’re a backpacker you’ll have trouble with your luggage. Honestly I’ve stayed in hostels that were 10 times nicer and more comfortable. After checking out (on the other street…), the front desk was kind enough to call me a taxi. But...
