"The apartment was intimate, cozy, and overall clean. Check in was smooth and level of security was good. With all this said there were opportunities of improvement:
1. Unfortunately, there was an ink stained towel awaiting us in the bathroom. More towels were provided to us but yet again we found the same issue.
2. For there to be so much rain we didnt have any inside critters but there was leakage from the ceiling in the corner of the bedroom. We also noticed broken/ missing window curtains....

"Location & Property
The hotel is conveniently located if you are visiting Tenorio Volcano and Río Celeste, although it is not right next to the main road. You have to drive about 10 minutes from the main road to reach the property. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so if you don't plan to have dinner at the hotel, you'll need to drive back to the main road to find somewhere to eat. The property consists of several houses surrounded by gardens and jungle, creating a very peaceful and...

"Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt.
We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf.
Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche!

"This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed, and if I ever have the chance to come back to La Fortuna I would rebook here in a second. The houses are spacious, clean and comfortable. Each feels very separate from the others and the whole property is covered in well maintained plants. With the dense foliage and the nature walk, it feels like you are nestled in the jungle and its such an amazing and unique experience. I loved sitting on the patio early in the morning and just listening to...

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"
