It was incredibly convenient to get to by water bus (which is the public transport that stops along the grand canal). The staff were all very helpful and we loved the rooftop bar, the view was amazing and Giorgia was so nice and made great drinks. Rooms were modern, clean and the view of the canal was amazing. We would stay here again, they made our honeymoon so special with extra touches!"

"Still good location even though you will need to take the vaporetto (boat bus) or people mover (tram) to get to venice centre. No restaurant around the area and decent mercato, so if you like having snacks or drinks. Please buy them at the city centre and take them in to your room. The hotel offers somes snack but very limited choices. "

"Hotel Abbazia was a gem—super conveniently located to public transportation (railway station and Piazzale Roma) and the Grand Canal but set back on a quiet side street. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was great—comfortable bed, effective AC, reasonably priced."
