"Overall my stay at this hotel was very good, the property was clean and well maintained, the staff was helpful, and the amenities were good too.
The location is right off of I-75 making it convenient but not too close to the beach, it's about a 20 minute drive.
The room was very quiet and spacious, the only downside is that the bed was not as firm as I would have liked, so it would sink in the middle.
The breakfast was very good, there were a lot of different options such as: eggs, waffles,...

"The property as a bit run down. Didn't look like the pictures. The door had large cracks where bugs and light could come through. There were trash and boxes left inside the room and trash cans from the previous tenant. There were odd smells in the room at arrival, so I went to the grocery store and got febreeze. Some of the white towels had brown and reddish stains (blood?) and smells on them, so we opted to use our personal beach towels instead. There wasn't a kitchenette and the fridge was...

"The carpet was really dirty, it felt sticky and the pillows felt like bean bag's and heavy the bed was hard and the breakfast had no eggs or pancakes or anything hot but bagels to make that was hot. The ac is in front of the refrigerator so when you got back from the beach and need a drink, it was like you would get sick in front of the ac, the valum on the TV only works on two settings so it was you couldn't hear it or it would blow a ear drum! The sheets were stained. I don't recommend it"

"we loved this property so much that we booked an additional stay! Location is ideal- right off I-75 and you can easily walk to a nearby Greek, Burger, or Seafood restaurant. We loved the clean rooms, hot shower, outdoor pool, and friendly staff. Special thanks to Marie in Breakfast service and Sandy at the Front desk- BOTH ladies very helpful and kind to us. Will definitely stay here again on our way back to Sanibel!"

"We have stayed at this HI Express several times and so appreciate the great staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. We were a bit disappointed on our most recent stay, our last night our bed was not made, towels were just left on the sink counter. We can't say enough about the breakfast service and the staff who makes it possible, and about the front desk weekend staff. They are amazing, and we are so grateful that you are there so that we can travel safely and comfortably. We will be back!"
