"A beautiful location right on the ocean! The food at the shoals restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was very good with many choices. The best part of our stay was the wonderful staff! Everyone was so kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"The Clocktower Inn is a lovely place to stay in downtown Ventura. It's an older establishment, so it's not fancy or elegant by any means, but it's a super charming, comfortable, and clean Spanish style hotel. The location next to Mission Basilica San Buenaventura and the Museum of Ventura County is ideal for walking throughout downtown Ventura and all of its shops and cafes. It's also easily walkable to the beach area--the Ventura Promenade, Surfer's Point, the Ventura Pier.. To not have to drive and worry about parking is a huge benefit."

"Beautiful grounds. Cool pond with ducks. A little away from town but felt like a safe location. Food at breakfast looked better than it tasted. We were disappointed in the eggs & sausage. Definitely get a room facing the interior pond if you can. Otherwise you are just looking out at the parking lot."
