"the minute we arrived the host was helpful, and very nice. He even asked if we needed dinner reservations. The room was clean and pristine. the breakfast was excellent. the host was very cordial and helpful. would definitely recommend. would definitely stay again if in that area"

"The room smelled of smoke, the bed covers were old and the rugs were in need of a deep cleaning. The room we were issued did not resemble the photos on the website. We do not recommend staying at this location."

"We stayed at the Best Western for a reunion weekend in Poughkeepsie. The hotel was at best, sub par. For the money that you pay per night, this is a grift! The bathroom was gross with the towel rack coming off the wall and an old phone that didn’t work hanging on its last leg in the bathroom. There was no hairdryer in the room and there wasn’t enough soap or shampoo for two people. Every time someone walked by our room, the door rattled and shook as if someone was trying to break in! Don’t get...

"It was very satisfied staying expect mattress conditions. It was too soft. I really liked about BBQ grill & breakfast."

"We appreciated the convenience of having breakfast included with our stay. I would have to say that not having body soap available during our stay was an inconvenience. We had to go to the local store (Walmart) and purchase body soap. Another downside was that housekeeping did not come to clean our room daily. When we called to inquire about getting housekeeping to our room we were told by the front desk that the service is provided every three days. I would highly recommend that policy of...

"Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff with convenient cafe and water dispenser. Easy access to Poughkeepsie attractions."

"The staff were helpful and the room was clean. We had one issue with a slow draining bath, but I mentioned this to the front desk and while we were out on Saturday they repaired it. The property is showing a little age , but everything was nice enough. We did not do the restuarant or the bar facilities, so I have no opinion on them."

"Modern, clean room. Lush towels! Ez on/off Highway 84. Great stay."

"The hotel is one of several small outbuildings, not the grand building pictured. Seemed like it was fairly neglected-coffee pot cord couldn’t reach the outlet, no USB ports, not “estate” quality. The bright spot was the receptionist-friendly and helpful. Not a repeat destination."

"Room clean and comfortable. Good breakfast."
