"We requested that the room was cleaned daily. This was not really Cleaning. They emptied the bins and made the beds but didn’t sweep and crumbs and food were on the floor as we were there for four days with two young children so we could have done with the floor being cleaned. However the room itself was beautiful the view was stunning. Breakfast was adequate and the pool was brilliant. The little one loved the playroom. A lovely hotel and excellent for children. Very close to the station and Tivoli Gardens. Love that the food court was nearby too."

"Tiny room. Tiny pillows. The hot water at the lobby was always empty, and every time we needed some, we had to ask the front desk — only to be given half a cup. The night before our departure, we were assured that packed breakfast would be ready by 5 AM. To our surprise, there was nothing prepared. Instead, the front desk staff on May 12 handed us a cold, hard bun sandwich straight from the fridge. We felt insulted and disgusted, especially considering how much we paid for this stay. Staying at this hotel turned out to be our worst nightmare."

"Lovely 2-night stay at Hotel Mayfair. Conveniently located by the central train station and Tivoli Gardens, both within 5 mins walk. Very quiet considering it’s in the city centre! Great little room with good decor and very clean. Just one thing: there were no coffee/tea making facilities inside the room, which I found a little strange. Overall I would stay again."

"Stayed here in mid April for 3 nights to begin my vacation in Denmark. Taking the train from CPH to Copenhagen Central station, the hotel was about a 10 minute walk away. Very easy to find. I arrived at 7am after a red eye flight from the US. The reception is available 24/7 and I was able to store my luggage before check in for a fee of about $15 USD (but in local currency DKK). With great relief I dropped off my luggage used my own lock and went to tour the city. Hotel Ansgar is clean, receptionist were all friendly, welcoming, a wonderful resource, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was amazing and totally worth the 129DKK ($20 USD). I believe this breakfast fee is for my entire stay and no per day. The hotel itself has many stairs to the elevator at every level except the top floor (heard from another guest). Its like 8 stairs up to elevator from reception and then another 8 stairs up after elevator to room. The rooms itself were very clean, had window, desk, open closet, and a private bathroom. I was very pleased. Just enough space. There was room under the bed to store my large suitcase. The room offered a small mini fridge (very small compared to the states and not as cool barely cool enough to refridgeorate food - think drinks). No microwave, a kettle with complimentary coffee and black tea with cream and sugar. One weird thing I have never seen before that seems common in Denmark is that once you use the hotel key card to enter into room to use the l"
