"Francisco is amazing, proactive, empathetic, and goes beyond basic duties to create a memorable guest experience. He genuinely cares about guest comfort and is very professional. The head housekeeper is also accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is good. The hotel room is very dark and gloomy. Considering that the hotel is historical and has no windows except the balcony, they should install stronger and more lightning fixtures. A desk and chair are missing. Everything is dark including the closet. Needed a flashlight to see the safe deposit box to open. No box of tissue (Kleenex) among the toiletries but the head housekeeper kindly provided when I requested for it. The shower is not safe for guest with mobility issues. It is not senior-friendly. Grab bars would be helpful. "

"The room was clean. The bed was big. The view of Vesuvius was exciting. Located 200 feet from the front of Garibaldi train station. Noisy with the windows open - but quiet with the windows closed. Location was good for seeing the Amalfi Coast and access to trains, buses, subways to explore other parts of the city and the towns of the Amalfi Coast. Take the Campana Express to Sorrento, walk to the Ferry terminal for trips to Positano and Amalfi - buy your own tickets for €30 and spend as much time as you need in these towns (tip: the arranged tours kind of suck b/c you only spend 1 1/2 hours on each stop). Naples is a rough place. The area around the hotel is very safe with many police and military protecting us dumb tourists. Wandering far away from main roads can be intimidating. We saw an elderly lady get knocked to the ground and her purse stolen by a gang of scumbags at 5:00 in the evening. For a fantastic food experience visit Franco’s Pizzeria (black awning) around the corner from hotel. Ask for a table downstairs. "

"Fantastic clear comms on What’s App from the property owner, as our late flights meant we got to the property at midnight. The apartment was immaculate and in a fantastic location. Superb security, the apartment has a supermarket and a pharmacy effectively underneath it. Breakfast is from the bakery at the end of the street, which makes delicious coffee and pastries. 10 min walk to where the cruise ships berth. There’s a taxi rank at the end of the street and remember to quote the municipal taxi rate between the property and the airport, so €30. There’s a bank on the taxi rank corner and a nice bar opposite, as well as a basic Indian Restaurant with excellent food. A 5 min walk, uphill past said bar keeping left of a windmill in the street takes you to a main shopping street. You are a 10/15 min walk from the Maradona Murals from this property. When I return to Naples, I will try to book here again. That’s the biggest tribute I can give our stay here!"

"It was close to most things but this area was rather poor and a lot of homeless near by. It was definitely one of the nicer buildings. The hotel breakfast was really good our room was ok it wasn’t as nice as I had expected. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There way black mold in the shower. "
