"This was a good place to stay. A bit old, but maintained okay. The area is so beautiful it is worth it. We were a bit unlucky staying in the classic rooms during a hot day; the room got really cold and we had to leave the window open, outside there were a lot of buses for the boat tours that depart from there. It cooled for the night."

"Our family stayed in the family suite for a summer trip to Voss on a stopover from the Norway in a Nutshell route. The family who owns the historic farm property is so helpful and nice. The property and room were beautiful. The highlight was the farm-to-table organic dinner and breakfast. Delicious! I would 100% recommend to anyone to stay here."

"Better than expected because they have refurbished since the property photos were taken. Basic room but clean and comfy. Stunning view of the waterfalls from our window. Bathroom door handle was loose and squeaky."

"The location is wonderful as the hotel sits by the fjord. Our room has two balconies with great views! The breakfast is exceptionally good with a lot of variety of food. Staff is very helpful. He allows us to trade two complimentary local beer to two bottle water."

"The property is located in a beautiful scenery, far from city, plan accordingly Check in advance if they are offering all the services for the season . We got a message offering fresh local breakfast, We signed in advance, however we were informed they have not opened this service for the season and was an automatic message."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Heimly. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic! We enjoyed sitting on the porch admiring the scenery! The walk town was about 10 minutes. We learned on our last trip into town that you can walk along the boardwalk by the fjord instead of taking the road. With luggage, this is a much better option. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available if you arrive prior to room availability. Highly recommend."
