"If like us you are just looking for a place to rest in comfort while you are traveling, then this is it! Very clean, basic furnishings with no TV. A cooktop, microwave, and fridge, but no oven are provided. As we arrived after midnight, and had difficulty with the room code after entering the building, we called the 'emergency number' and got in the 'next available operator' loop for half an hour so no one responds if their is an actual emergency. Office opens at 9am and email responses get...

"Hesla Gård (Farm) is so charming. There has been great care in preserving the historic buildings, the lodging is clean and very comfortable, and the inn hosts are wonderful. Easy walk to town (10 min) and to local sites, such as the Gol Church, and to hiking trails. I look forward to my next visit! "

"Great little apartment in a lovely neighborhood, only about a 15 minute walk into the city centre. It was well equipped with bathroom and kitchen essentials including, most importantly, coffee pods! There were large secure lockers to use for left luggage which was also a great bonus. Would happily return again."
