Quite nice spa hotel with some improvements to do - - Shower facet was broken on our room - Shower door was broken on our room - The room was quite dusty, cleaning was moderate at best - Breakfast and dinner were excellent - Spa is quite nice

Our room on the first floor had obstructed view of the beach, with a row of trees blocking it. I also had a few issues with the room, which i complained about. It took a few days but i was moved onto the third gloor. This room was much better with a view of the beach from the balcony and a sink in the bathroom, not in the main bedroom as my previous room Melina the manageress arrangeg the move. So thank you.

We stayed here as a family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 8) in late June. Kids loved the pool and were the right age to enjoy the Mini Club activities. Pool area was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable and room had good air con. Spa was an added bonus. We were full board and loved the breakfast and dinner. Drinks were priced very reasonably. Gym had everything we needed although it’s looking a little tired. Very close to a fantastic beach and walking distance to the water park. We had a fantastic stay.

Nice hotel. Swimming pool outside didn't have the water slides and the water jets operating. Perhaps out of sezon even though it was at the end of May. The swimming pool inside and the spa were nice.

Overall good, clean, nice indoor pool, decent gym, good breakfast, easy access to the beach was handy. I would only say for vegetations, whilst there are some dishes, the staff didn't speak much English so difficult to know what is vegetarian and what isn't, as the food wasn't labelled, and items that ordinarily wouldn't have meat or fish, did. Also, whilst full board doesn't include drinks, they wouldn't even provide tap water.

Staff were helpful dionne, igor and christian were amazing so helpful. Food at breakfast was adequate they had eggs cooked infront of you choice of fried or omellete with different fillings. Pastries were nice aswell. Fresh juices were available also. Choice of pools outside dod not use them as water was freezing! Indoor pool and spa was the highlight of our stay be warned it was not communicated to us whilst there there is a charge for unreturned blue spa towels €15 per towel!!! Return them to staff and make sure they register it on your room key

Lovely hotel, perfect location, clean, lovely staff especially those in the restaurant and poolside bar. Their service impeccable. Pools are great. Didn’t really see the point of the Spa, maybe it’s a novelty in Europe but really just a couple of jacuzzi’s, indoor pool and sauna. Only used once. Rooms lovely and spacious. Could do with more things to do of an evening is my advice. There is The Lotus Bar but nothing going on really there. In the restaurant the only down side is the griddle where the meat/ fish is cooked. SO slow, always had to que, they should fill the griddle but they don’t they ask each person one at a time what they would like as they get to the front of the que and then cook it, however the food is delicious. Aside from that I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. More a four star, not a five star.

Being out of season the hotel was very quiet and only one pool open. However the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were full board and whilst only the main restaurant was open all our food was cooked fresh for us. We were very well looked after and enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely horrible experience, THE worst experience I ever had. Booked room for 2 with 3 sleeps. Also paid extra for full board. Last minute change, decided to take a daughter with us. Upon arrival I was told that we can't be in this room. Not enough sleeping places, like what? and I need to pay 200€ extra for her food and for her presence in the room. I said: "cancel my "full board", I don't need money back." They said: "we can't because you booked through Expedia, in order to cancel it, even for NO REFUND, you need to contact Expedia". And no parking. They had nothing available. So I had to deal with it by myself. They didn't care how! Stay away from this place!!!

Horrible experience

What a frustrating experience for 5* hotel… Room received is not matching the reservation. Instead of family room with 4 single beds we received a standard room with 2 single beds. The worst experience was in the kids club. Our kids were lost. We found them in the street with cars outside of hotel. Horrible experience.

Fabulous hotel

I booked a short break here with my daughter & we weren’t disappointed. From arrival until departure, the staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is luxurious & all areas very clean . We had an amazing large , family sea view room , which was immaculate. So spacious , with everything you would need provided , eg robes , toiletries , fridge , hairdryer, water , kettle etc The pool areas were very quiet , but that was fine & pool too cold for us to use in May . The indoor spa was lovely & well worth a visit . The restaurant serving breakfast & dinner , was also well stocked with a variety of different foods , again staff very helpful, plates cleared quickly & all areas clean . La Pineda has a beautiful beach & the area was pretty low key . There’s a selection of shops , bars , restaurants within easy walking distance Honestly our short break couldn’t have gone better …very grateful for the sunshine! Thank you for a wonderful stay
