"Small hotel with unbeatable location right on Vilano Beach with short drive to downtown St. Augustine. All rooms have an ocean view with small balcony (though first floor may be partially obstructed by sand dunes (we were on second floor)). Hotel is very pet friendly (and dogs are allowed on the beach). Friendly/helpful staff. No pool; breakfast decent not great. Still worth it."

"The room was clean, bed comfortable with good mattress. The complimentary breakfast had lots of good choices, much better than others we’ve stayed at. The only complaint is there is no parking and you have no choice but to pay for valet parking in their underground garage at $27.50 / night"

"We loved our stay at the economy inn! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent cleaning staff and the best part was the location- 10 minute walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Saw others with their pets but we had none. Being a pet lover this was nice to see. We prefer to sleep cool and the room temp was GREAT! Water pressure was the BEST! Excellent pressure and hot water!! Room was spotless with lots of pillows and excellent bedding. Staff was very nice & food was good. Being tired, we ate at the bar area and were pleased. Quiet area of town and easy walk to city center. 5 stars!!!!"

"The suite has a nice layout with a full kitchen. It is really close to area attractions. The General Manager was super friendly and helpful. The maintenance man that came to help us with issues in the room was also very friendly and helpful. The staff here get 10 stars! We had some issues with the bathroom during the stay and we understand it is a historical area so plumbing can be tricky. Especially when previous guests apparently flushed bars of soap. So not really the fault of the hotel...
