"I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. Rita and the staff made sure all our needs were taken...

"Great location and accommodation. The host communicated well. Just be aware that there is no elevator so luggage must be carried up a couple flights of stairs. Still worth it."

Habitación súper moderna, espaciosa, limpia y con todas las comodidades. Y lo mejor de todo, las atenciones de Stefy y Bepe (los propietarios), siempre atentos y dispuestos para hacer que la estancia sea lo más placentera. "L’hôtel se trouve à quelques pas du magnifique Lac de Côme où il y a un traversier ⛴️ à toutes les hres si vous voulez faire un tour à Bellagio où Côme pour pas cher et vous pouvez aussi louer une moto à 1/2 km sur la route principale chez Agostini moto et à pied vous pouvez aller au musée Moto Guzzi gratuit 🆓 Ps j’avais la dernière chambre au grenier qui est tous rénovée , très bien, juste un bémol la dernière escalier pour se rendre à la chambre est très étroite pour des grosses valises ! "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"Nice couple manage the hotel. We had a great 4 days-stay. It's near to the lake and to main hub of town. Breakfast is like a half buffet but they generously offer you refill! Room was nice and comfortable bedding."
