"We loved the hotel. The staff was nice, the spa was amazing, and so was the pool. It is very central and easy to walk around Tavira from the Hotel. We also loved the breakfast. The only note is that the closets are smaller than usual and there isn’t a section for long dresses or coats."

"Attractive building with underground parking for small cars. Central location. Clean. Friendly. Bartender not interested in serving us anything more exotic than red or white wine in spite of extensive drinks menu. Fortunately lots of other bars and cafes near by. Registration took an age but that may not be unusual."

"Good for kids (though few as it was school time!). Bar good - if noisy - but drinks and bar food was good value. Breakfast was disappointing in that while there was a lot of choice it was a shame better quality fresh ingredients (e g cheese - only one type and as another guest said to me: "straight out of a packet" - and prepared fruit was only tinned. To be fair, there was a good selection of fresh fruit. Waiting staff were very good. "

"Booked 5 rooms for 6 nights couldn’t fault the rooms ,rooms spotless , bonus they changed the bedding and towels on after the 3rd night . On site supermarket , Restaurant and bar , all great prices , great pool The walk into town about 20mins the road not great , but we used BOLT cost €2.50 one way We loved it and would recommend "

"The hotel is in an excellent location,close to the motorway with fantastic views over the river and out to sea. Staff were helpful accepted an Amazon parcel delivery for our fellow travellers and quickly upgraded their rooms on request Rooms clean and tidy and kept so. Air conditioning ok and way to control. Breakfast is expensive and not worth it and there is much better value in the town. Bar staff very friendly. Hotel not particularly busy. For a Parador it is good value especially booked...

"Nice clean place with very responsive staff. They were extremely helpful via WhatsApp as I was arriving with a late check in. Cute location, free packing down the block, no issues. Clean room with good working AC. Bathroom was a little run down but completely adequate condition for the price of the room. very nice view from the top balcony off the communal kitchen, you can see the lighthouse. Great value stay, would come again if stopping in the area. "

"Aside from the confusing parking, between reserved for hotel and for public, the stay was perfect. It was a quick check in and the room was plenty for two people to stay in. It is straight-forward and easy, includes resturant, breakfast/dinner and has a pool area to relax. The staff were amazing and spoke multiple languages to accomodate guests with different nationalities. Overall stay was great. Location was very close to many shops and restuarants in the area of Monte Gordo."
