"It's a beautiful chateau that dates back to the 16th century (at least). At one point owned and designed by one of Haussman's architects, the brick and stone facade is classic. You could get lost in the gardens (that's a good thing!) and they are thoughtfully landscaped and beautiful. "It is a very lively boutique hotel in the country with the most wonderful staff. We had room 6 and the bed was comfortable and shower and amenities were very good. The staff at the restaurant is very attentive and friendly and the breakfast buffet was extensive and outstanding (except crepes were dry). Dinner was excellent. "
