The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. This unique property was interesting. Beautiful outside area with view. Very old ( Middle Ages) building with a fireplace and unique woodworking. Good breakfast. The downside of having an old building was that things aren’t quite as fresh as a new or newly renovated place.

The host at the property was great. He assisted with our bags upon arrival and departure. The breakfast was excellent with eggs and special requests provided with a smile. My wife and I had a two room suite with private patio overlooking the Rhône and Avignon. Wonderful laid back vibe here and the old town 5-10 minutes walk away . Tres Bon

The location was great across the river from Avignon so it was peaceful. An easy walk into the small village which had several good restaurants. Access to Avignon was great by bus or a 20 minute walk. The view from our porch was amazing as you could see the Palais de Pape. The proprietor Folco was incredibly helpful in all ways possible. Carrying luggage,parking our car,answering all questions and securing a roundtrip taxi on a rainy evening. The daily breakfast buffet was hearty and tasty. I loved the marriage of 15th century and modern conveniences they have created. I highly recommend this lodging!

Such a beautiful, unique hotel. The view was amazing. The town was cute. Walkable to Avignon. Folco was so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was a wonderful touch. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Orsini! The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful, and the room was clean and charming. The property is located at the old shateau with lost of interesting and charming details. The homemade breakfast every morning was fantastic; beautiful backyard with sequoias and lamas! Quiet yet walkable to the city and major landmarks.

Excellent service with staff. This is a very old hotel in a nice setting. For us it was difficult to climb very narrow and old stairs to the room. The bathroom has an Italian type bath tub. Very difficult to sit in tub and hold the shower handle with a stand up shower. This is a place for much younger people who can handle the stairs and a sit down shower.. I would not recommend this place for older folks.

Staff and location were excellent. Loved the hidden swimming pool and the views from the terrace. Room was comfy but a little dated. Unfortunately the lower rooms smelled strongly of fish, likely the prior guests used the kitchen. After 24 hours of leaving the windows open the smell dissipated but it would have nice if it had been aired out before we arrived. The town of Villeneuve is a short walk away, lots of restaurants and it is very pretty. The walk to Avignon is about 25 mins one way. After walking both ways and exploring Avignon itself we clocked up 20,000 steps so be prepared.

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay at Maison Orsini! Our host was so kind and helpful. The view from the room is stunning and breakfast was fresh, local, and delicious. We were able to walk to downtown Avignon with a baby stroller.

Amazing stay! The best location. The grounds were unbelievable and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Loved the garden pool, the view at night, and breakfast wash day. Falco was always there to help.

One of the best places I have stayed at in Europe! If you want a relaxing stay in an authentic, picturesque quaint French village, Maison Orsini is must! We had the best time ever! Amazing accomodation, views , gardens and pool we pretty much had to ourselves! This is a place I could return to many times! Thank you to our wonderful host!
