"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. "Audrey, our hostess, was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! We loved the local ingredients and home made yogurt, and all for a very reasonable price. "

"This hotel is located a bit outside of Blois in a rather commercial area, and thus had limited options for dining. We went in to town to do so and look at the Chateau. The room is your basic chain room. I would not hesitate to stay the night there again while traveling through, though it i not the place for multiple nights if you plan to stay in the room."
