Hotel Golf di Vinci

"Overall, the hotel was clean with good parking near it. However, sometimes the hot water for taking showers did not work well. Also, the TV inside the hotel is relatively small which I believe it needs to be upgraded. But, if you are planning to visit Italy and not pay much, this is a good choice. It's near Florence (~30 min drive in evenings and ~1hr during the rush hour) with plenty of free parking spots near it. It's placed in a not extremely crowded city (Empoli) which is nice. "The hotel was lovely and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and had all the things we needed for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a nice selection along with very sweet hosts to help with anything you may need. We will be back."

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "The property is not far from the train station and the Duomo. San Lorenzo market is right behind it and it’s a nice market and good place to get a quick bite with multiple vendors to choose from. Breakfast at the hotel is included and has a decent amount of choice and cappuccinos. Staff was friendly and helpful."
