"The view was Great and quiet but attention to details was lacking as regards cleaning like inside water closet and changing of bed cover. No much variety for breakfast, I stayed nine nights and I kept on seeing the same items."

"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "

"The rooms were clean and warm with tea/coffee facilities, towels, bathrooms close by. The staff were lovely and helped sort us 2 adjoining rooms with a bathroom close by as the family room with ensuite that Hotels.com sold to us dows not exist. sold to "

"Easy fast check in. Short walk from train station. 15 minute walk to terminal 2. Would happily stay here again if flying early from Manchester Airport "

"This is a great hotel for an overnight at the airport. Clean, well appointed rooms and welcoming staff. Only downside was the shuttle has change, we booked a specific time and as we arrived in reception the shuttle drove off. Staff said it would 15/20mins before it was back so we chose to walk to the terminal at 4am in Jan. Two mins after leaving the hotel the shuttle returned but we wee already at the edge of the property and couldn’t risk going back to only see it sail off again. Lost the cost...

"Didn’t have breakfast, but if the standard of food is everything like the evening meal we had it would be excellent.. it was really cold on the night we stayed but the entire building was cozy. We could adjust our room temperature which was ideal. Could not fault anything"

"For the price, this had everything we wanted - access to a well equipped gym, sauna and steam room, king bed and decent breakfast. Staff weren’t overly helpful / customer service wasn’t great overall but in terms of facilities - the room was good, bed was comfy and the breakfast we added was good. Would definitely stay here again for a stop off if doing a long drive across the country again."

Please bear in mind that if you are taking the courtesy bus to the airport , we were overwhelmed by the amount of time it took to get back to the airport in the morning as the traffic was very heavy- allow an extra 30-60 mins to get to the airport!
