"The location is the reason to stay here. Everything in the charming Staunton downtown area is walkable. The rocking chairs out front are a nice touch. The elevators are quick. The hotel is quiet. The parking convenient. The room was fine, although smaller and dark with a very small window and no way to push the heavy black out curtain open.

"The hotel looked fairly new and outside and inside were extremely
clean and modern. It is one of the new minimal types of hotels. There is plenty of parking that was very well lit. The desk clerk, Dede, was very pleasant and efficient. The lobby offers 24 hour coffee and tea. She told us about the Hometown Grill that is in walking distance and offers a discount for guests. We arrived on a Sat evening and the restaurant had a steak and seafood buffet for $18.99 (think Golden Corral type food)....
"It was okay for a one night stay, nothing spectacular or noteworthy about it. The decor is underwhelming as are the amenities including the breakfast. They need to spruce it up, both the rooms and the common areas."
