"Great hotel overall, but the food situation was a real problem. Breakfast ran out of omelets, and that was the only meal service available — there’s no on-site restaurant otherwise. The vending machine took my money without dispensing my snack, and I learned it’s owned by Pepsi, with no phone number provided for a complaint or refund. I left a “broken” sign on the machine, but by the next morning it had been removed and the machine was back in service, still taking other guests’ money before ever being fixed.
Given how isolated the property is — nothing nearby within walking distance — a small snack shop or store on-site would make a huge difference. At minimum, the hotel should post a clear notice on its website that the restaurant is closed, so guests can plan accordingly."
