"Great place! Just as advertised! Quaint cabin with amazing ranch campus! We got to check out the larger house too! Would stay her again in a second! Perfect base for the local wineries and Placerville restaurants. "

"There is no staff on the property so any issue is difficult to sort out, also checking in is also challenging. My greatest concern was the attitude of the owners/staff, they were quite rude with me when my room access card wouldn’t work. It happened there times and at challenging times. When I called them and waited their arrival to fix the problem they were very rude to me, when I tried to apologize they hung up on me. Very disappointed."

"Quaint and beautiful historic hotel! Right in downtown Placerville. We loved strolling from the hotel to all the cute shops and antique stores along the row. Hotel itself was clean, well managed with friendly staff. Shower was hot with great pressure! We loved the antique look of the rooms. Bonus: if you like ghosts and spooky stories, this hotel is great! We loved watching the Portals to Hell episode about the hotel… in the hotel! Overall, fantastic experience. "I want to express the wonderful work the woman did attending to us on the Saturday and Sunday breakfast. She was outstanding. There were a few black ants in our toilet and shower room."
