"Lovely hotel in a truly amazing location. Booked a Danube view and woke up every morning looking at the Parliament building, mornings don’t start much better than that. Great staff, great food. Would absolutely recommend to everyone and will be booking another trip soon "
"A great welcome, super comfy bed and well presented room. Mirrors where they should be, hairdryer, safe comfy chairs and good free WiFi everywhere. A hotel lounge with free hot drinks fruit and water with a bar is available and we used it. Really enjoyed the breakfast which had very good hot and cold choices. Good coffee and tea selection and if we could have a hot chocolate selection then it would be perfect. Fantastic location and we would definitely return."
"A beautiful hotel, not far from New York cafe. I had booked us an executive room so we had access to the spa and the executive lounge. We also received a very nice upgrade upon check-in to a a two room suite.
The spa is delightful and the executive lounge could not have been better. Mike the concierge at the executive lounge made us extremely welcome and his service was exemplary. We had cocktails and even a light dinner one evening in the lounge.
The breakfast buffet was extensive, good quality and included a freshly prepared omelette station. There was a small selection of gluten free bread and crackers.
The hotel is on a fairly busy street with a little street noise on Saturday night.
Overall highly recommended!"
"I love this hotel and have been back more than once. The staff are very nice and helpful and the location is lovely. It is not perhaps the best location if you want to fall out of your hotel straight into central Budapest or are into late night clubbing or dining but i love the location on Margaret Island. For me provides the perfect balance between the peaceful nature of the island and the bustle of the city. There are regular, reliable buses into the city and the view as you cross the bridge is of the stunning Parliament building - especially gorgeous when lit up.
The rooms are clean and traditional rather than modern - the sister hotel is more modern but I preferred the tradiitional feel of this one personally. Beds comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious.
There is a small place to eat here and breakfast is provided in the main dining room. You can also get a nice (but a bit overpriced) buffet in the nighbouring hotel for dinner.
The spa and pool are also and accessed via an underground tunnel joining hte two hotels. Robes and towels are provided. Gym is also well equipped.
Personally can't speak highly enough of this place and I would go back anytime."
"Stunning hotel in an excellent location for room views of the Danube and the main attractions, bars & restaurants.
The hotel provided a wonderful rose petal decoration for my wife’s birthday on our arrival that was really lovely. "
"Nice room, but the bathroom and toilet are separate and the doors are made of glass. It’s ok if you’re alone, but if you’re with someone else, you’ll have no privacy.
Breakfast could be better and restaurant could over a larger variety of dishes.
Very good hotel, but there are others better and cheaper"
