The location was great! Just in old town and perfect to hangout! Property was decent for the price! We faced a bit of issue with water not being there in property when we arrived and next day when we wanna go out but owner when contacted has released water for us! The day of checkin we had to manage with cold water! Next day we got warm water as well! Over all decent for the price and prime location for beautiful spots and hotels of old town

There was no cocktail bar, not open or even looking like it anyone was around .. noone was there at checking in, except the cleaner.. there was no fridge or wifi available. I would not recommend a stay here. Vlore is beautiful, and a great stop if you're near the middle of Albania. The hotel is in the old town.

It was such a Historical and nostalgic building In the heart of old town with an excellent location and friendly staff. They made my day with their friendship during my holiday! Moreover in the morning they serve great breakfast , highly recomended!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Buddha House Hotel in Vlora! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a serene ambiance that truly lived up to the hotel’s name. The location is perfect—close to local attractions, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend Buddha House Hotel to anyone visiting Vlora; it’s a gem that made my trip truly memorable!

Charming room in the historical center

Just one night in the historical center of Vlorë. This cute little room was perfect for a solo traveler. Very good location, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was the greatest I had on this trip. Small thing I would change: the absence of a curtain around the shower kept the bathroom wet.

First, the cocktail bar is never open, so if you are trying to get a nightcap on the property, don't count on it. Mostly the score comes from the hotel being spacious with good air conditioning and in a nice location, however...my shower was clogged and because it is an open European style shower, it meant standing in gross water that covered the majority of the bathroom floor. I never saw any staff over the weekend, so I couldn't really try to get it fixed. I also tried to pay with card when I arrived because I don't usually walk around with large amounts of cash but their card reader wasn't charged. They said I could pay the next day, but again, I didn't see anybody so I had to message the hotel on the day I checked out and they had me leave cash at the tourist shop across the street. I guess if you are trying to get a free hotel room, you could scam them pretty easily. Overall a good place for the price, once the shower is fixed.

We booked three nights here 14-17 June 2026. When we arrived, it didn't look open. There was a man sitting on the front stoop who said the manager wasn't around but he could show us in. We went in and were told to pick a room. It felt very strange to us but we did it. There was no wifi. The cocktail bar was closed. Never met any management or staff. Everything was all dark. We tried contacting the management through the Hotels.com app, but they never responded. The next morning when there was still no one, we decided to move to a different hotel. We contacted the management using the phone number on the listing and explained what was going on and that we had moved. We even paid for breakfast and a welcome drink, so that was a waste of money. They said they would refund two nights stay but it has been over 2 weeks at this point and I've seen no refund.
