Downtown Suites

"Construction noise, but they stopped working at 6pm so didn't affect us much as we stayed for 1 night "

"We did not go to the spa . However the property is surrounded by a river and a Forrest behind it. Slept with the doors open. The sound of the river was very soothing. "

"Although the facilities are acceptable, my overall experience was mixed. While the rest of the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating, we had a major issue with one specific female staff member. Upon arrival, she was quite rude and flatly refused to answer basic questions about our reservation, stating that she would not assist us until 3:00 PM. When we returned at that time and expressed our frustration regarding her treatment to another staff member, she finally apologized; however, it left a very unpleasant feeling due to the noticeable difference in the way she treated tourists compared to national guests. It is disappointing to encounter that kind of attitude from one individual, as it overshadowed the positive service provided by the rest of the team.""

Bambuda Castle - Hostel

"The hotel was beautiful, quiet and had amazing views"

Los Abetos Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nice room, beautifully landscaped property with lots of options for spending time outdoors working, talking, birdwatching, or napping. Would be a great choice for a group of travelers because the common areas enhance the experience of being together. Nice al fresco restaurant area with average food. Not a whole lot to do in the surrounding area, but quiet at night. Volcancito’s microclimate is drier and warmer than many areas of Boquete. Long walk or taxi to restaurants. There is an infrequent collectivo bus available. "

Boquete Firefly Inn
8/10 Good
"Clean room, comfortable bed and bedding, available late check-in with code, quiet location, cute room and restaurant. However be aware if on second floor that the stairs up are outside, very narrow, and they go directly into the room (no landing). Also the room has limited hooks and no shelves. We also had to request a heater for our second night. We slept in many layers our first night since we got in late and the AC was blowing at 16c. But overall, we liked it."
