"The gal who checked us in was fantastic; kind, polite, thorough. The room was great, the bed was very comfy! However we had a very early flight out so we asked for a bagged breakfast. The man who was at the desk for the overnight was rude not only to us but to other customers ahead of us, made us feel like a complete imposition that he had to do his job, and when he had to put together an extra breakfast because there was only 1, he picked a banana that was already split open, a rock hard pear, and a yogurt. I saw the breakfast buffet and it looked very good so that made it extra disappointing. However his attitude was what left a sour taste in my mouth about the whole stay, despite not having any other issues. "

"Location was amazing and in the core area of Ghent. Appreciate the coffee and water in the lobby! Easy checkin and checkout process. Staff were kind and welcoming! Room was clean and efficiently spacious. "

"We arrived in the city early and was going to ask reception if they could keep hold of our bags, they checked the system and our room was ready. Booked in early at no extra cost which was great as it gave us a chance to sort ourselves out before heading for a wander. There is a small park on the other side of the road, and out the other side of the hotel is everything you should need, shopping street with plenty of food places and retail therapy transport links are easy to get to as well… now for the actual hotel, our room was at one of the far ends of the building, leaving the reception full of terrariums and plants 1 of 3 lift swiftly take you to the required floor, the vestibule (if you will) has even more ornate plants and seats, each floor has a water fountain and you will find a sealed clean bottle in your room to fill at your leisure. Down the green walled halls to the room. Upon opening the door we were greeted by a large airy room, with beautiful attention to detail. Bed was large and very comfy, and 2 chairs with small table. This hotel has exceeded our expectations at every point… we will definitely come back to the city and hotel"

"Location ideal for exploring all areas of the city. Breakfast was basic but enough to fill you up for the day. Beds were comfy and air con was good. Shower pressure was very good. However, desite undergoing renovations, basic hotel amenties are lacking. On a four day stay we had no change of towel or room clean despite requesting this, no TV remote despite again several requests. There are things that should be in place for a 3 star hotel that renovations can not excuse. We had a very good rate and paid a fair price. However we wouldnt pay more. "
