The hotel is in a very good location that is walkable to a lot of popular places. It's close to the Riverwalk area, so you can get to downtown or across the river for the farmer's market pretty easily.
I'm docking stars just because of the towing situation.
There was an event at the Riverwalk one night we were there. We checked in, and they said place a parking pass in your car. I specifically asked if I had time to take a break in my room before going to put the pass out. The lady at the front said she would 'only call them (towing) if it got bad' with the concert and that I had time. Come out of my room after about an hour to put on the pass, and my car has been towed.
After my car was towed, they realized they did not have signs on the doors and started putting signs up on the entrance doors about towing. I mean if I didn't ask, I would understand, but since I specifically asked if I had time and was told I did, I was angry about the whole situation. They did work it out for me to get a ride to the towing place, and I did not have to pay for the fee thankfully, but it was a big waste of time and really put a damper on the whole stay.
My friend even overheard an employee's car also got towed the same night. Other places I've stayed, they will ask for the make / model / license plate, so you don't have to worry about putting a piece of paper on
