"This historic inn was clean and not too fancy. The location is great for exploring Thame. It’s also part of the Midsomer Murders” tour which was fun. Breakfast - made to order- was excellent and plentiful. We’d stay here again. "

"Extremely good experience at Horwood House. Everything from the greeting at reception to housekeeping was faultless. Stayed in a deluxe king room which was as expected but above all, very clean and well maintained. Would stay again if in the area. "We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu ! Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. "

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is. There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away. The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on...
