"I had the sweetest stay at Shami and Dave’s home. It was exactly what I needed and in the perfect location. The breakfast provided was so nourishing and fresh. As well, the rooms are so so cozy and make you feel right at home. It’s also close to so many activities and beautiful scenery. I will definitely stay here again when back in Rotorua!"

"This was a wonderful accommodation. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. The views were incredible. Sadly it rained a lot so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Star the manager could not be any nicer. Anything we wanted she was there to get it for us. Our rooms were cleaned daily and amazing snack drawer was filled. Refrigerator was filled with drinks and replenished daily. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Much better than standard continental breakfasts normally...

"Staff friendly, helpful. Cabin was clean. Comfortable double beds. The 2x adults using the bunk beds found the plastic undercovers unpleasant & uncomfortable. Hairdryer was a welcome convenience."

"I would highly recommend staying here. Very friendly staff, the room was comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake, and great ammenities such as the lakeside hot tub, swimming dock and kayaks. The breakfast was also great. Fluffy eggs and a selection of other tasty items. Quiet and relaxing!"

"Noisy air exhaust fan in bathroom Aircon also noisey on low setting Room 201 is outdated and tired Smelt musty. Heavy condensation on windows and bed is immediately next too the window. Can feel the cold condensation. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience in #201 sorry to say. I’ve stayed at the hotel twice before, however I believe on those occasions the rooms were in the new wing which I’ve blocked the pool. On this occasion the room was in the older part of the hotel."

"Staff was super lovely and accommodating. Animals were so friendly. Only thing to keep in mind is laundry hours if you arrive late or leave early. Definitely come back here."

Die Amaturen könnten mal ausgewechselt werden, aber ich denke, dass hängt auch mit der Qualität des Wassers und der Luft zusammen. Es war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Den Pool habe ich nicht genutzt, da er mir zu kalt und zu klein war. "

"Very clean room "

"We traveled from the USA and this was our first stop. We loved it! Yes your patio smells like sulfur sometimes, but that’s to be expected when staying right next to the active geothermal lake. They were very helpful and responsive to all our questions/requests. The breakfast had a great variety and the quality of food, juice, and drinks was truly surprising. The room was very clean, the parking was very convenient."
