Glide silently through underground caverns where thousands of glowworms create a living constellation on limestone ceilings. Book a blackwater rafting tour to float beneath the blue lights or join local guides who'll reveal hidden chambers away from crowds.
Room was very clean and staff were helpful (we had some items missing from our room but this was quickly rectified). WiFi was a bit unstable. Breakfast was a help-yourself selection of cereals, toast and yogurt which was fine. Location is lovely, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. A nice place to stay.

The Hobbit unit was a comfortable, homely unit with heated blankets, separate bedroom for the children, hot showers, dining and cooking areas. We also had views of some of the other unique units.
The lady running the park could not have been more helpful and nice. She let our children feed a lamb and a possum. We were given ideas of what to do around the area to make the most of our stay.
We had a 5 week trip around New Zealand and this was our favourite place to stay.

The cabins are really nice...large and spacious and comfy and clean and well stocked. The owner is really friendly. The place is a bit difficult to find I have to say!
