Everything went smoothly and casual, from check in to check out. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, and continental breakfast was substantial enough to fill us up. Coffee was very good! Reading room and game room were bonuses that would be great in poor weather. We highly recommend for non-snobby visitors!

I love this beautiful old farm house! It’s charming and cozy and always easy to navigate your stay. Only reason I didn’t rate the facility as excellent is because it doesn’t have an elevator or readily accessible, should you need that. But the stairs are just part of its charm.

A quaint Inn

Chose this Inn as a central location to explore southern Vermont. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had all the basic needs covered. I would stay here again.

Quaint, but not functional! While the room itself was fine, the bathroom itself was behind a bifold door with only room to pivot between the shower, toilet and sink. The shower was so tiny and it took 7 minutes to get hot water! It’s also difficult to wash face or brush teeth at the tiny sink without hitting your elbow off the wall. The traffic was loud overnight and despite having the blind down to the windowsill, there was a light outside that was shining brightly all night. We only made it 1 night despite booking for 2 nights. We were miserable!

It's a small vintage New England Inn - and perfect for those that would rather have a good nights sleep and a friendly atmosphere over the sterility of a large commercial chain. No staff hovering and self check-in. A buffet breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The owner upgraded me to a larger room free of charge after I had made my reservation. I will return next time I'm in the area.

The breakfast was good and availability of snacks, refrigerator was adequate. Our bed was comfortable, but bathroom was very small. We had to lug suitcases up to a second floor with many steps. There was no one available to help us and the front walk was a bit challenging with snow and ice.

Convenient location, in town and only 10-15mins from Sugarbush ski area. Continental Breakfast decent. Inn has a couple of common areas, so could be good for a large group. Host was friendly and accomodating.

Would definitely stay again!!!

We loved staying at the Waitsfield inn. The staff was so personable and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and vegan friendly and it was very close to other restaurants. On Saturday morning there was a farmers market right across the street from the Inn.

Property is really nice and has several shared spaces with cozy sofas to relax. In terms of feed back some of the staff need to have a more formal greeting and introduction of the property features and dynamics. The older gentleman in the property was very attentive and proactive.

The property is fantastic! The owners are great and the breakfast is super. There are many options for rooms, we stayed in the Milton which was perfect and he renovations that have been done are great. Location could not be better as it's so close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen and just a stone's throw from Lawson's Finest (Sip o Sunshine)
