The hotel is undergoing renovation, so any reservation for a king-sized room was downgraded to a double room instead. This would be a minor issue if I had been communicated about this. The manager said they attempted to contact me, but my phone number wasn't transferred from Expedia's booking. System errors happen, so I understand, but there were no further attempts at communication. When I arrived, the receptionist did not notify me of this change; I had to find out for myself when I walked into the room. The price of the stay was the same, thankfully, but I'd still wait until renovations are done or avoid altogether. Water pressure takes about 5~10 minutes to heat up for a shower. If you book a stay while they are renovating, I recommend downloading some shows or movies; the wifi wasn't working. Again, I wasn't notified about this issue and had to ask the front desk about it. The majority of my concerns would have been handled from the start by communication. The room itself is fine and clean, though I had to plug in the fridge. At least I know it's new! There is limited parking due to the construction, but during my stay, I never had an issue finding parking. The elevator looks a bit outdated due to cardboard covering the floor for renovation, but I have honestly felt unsafe in worse, so this one is good. I still took the stairs when I could. Overall, this is a 2-star stay, and I recommend looking somewhere else.
